Sandra Schmirler MVP Award

At every Scotties Tournament of Hearts, beginning in 1997, a player is selected by the media for her outstanding play during the playoff round. In 2001, this Award was named The Sandra Schmirler Award in honour of the great Saskatchewan skip who won three Canadian and World titles as well as gold at the Olympics in Nagano, Japan.
