Benefits and Conditions of Volunteering

By applying to become a Volunteer for the 2008 Scotties Tournament of Hearts you acknowledge and agree with the following:

  • A minimum of 20 hours of Volunteer Service (each shift is 4-5 hours long on average)
  • All accepted Volunteers are required to pay either a $50.00 or $100.00 Volunteer Rewards Package Fee, payable to "2008 Scotties Tournament of Hearts".
  • This payment will ONLY be collected at the first Volunteer Pep Rally
  • Authorization to perform a background check (including a Criminal Check)
  • Photo Identification is required at time of Volunteer Accreditation

All accepted applicants will receive, as part of their Volunteer Reward Package:

  • Access to the HeartStop Lounge.
  • One article of Scotties clothing – appropriate for your duties.
  • Parking pass for IPSCO Place.
  • A 2008 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Volunteer Pin.
  • Two pre-event pep rallies.
  • Food while volunteering.
  • Pre-Event retail discount coupon to purchase Scotties items.
  • Invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party.
  • Standing room ticket to all draws. (Volunteer Reward Package "A" Only)
